UV Print

This UV print was made to translate the experience of the environment when lying on my back in the swimming pool, to combine curved lines with shape, and to see a blue/white colour palette, informed by Gabriel Orozco. These raised textures become a gratitude for even the smallest amounts of water.

Collage is a method to understand connections visually of edge. The edge can be the frame of the camera/canvas/how much background we are seeing in reality. The colour of the edge can be further separated and made into layers of different colour. Symmetrical composition evaluates that the same area of water/sea could be seen as not the same in pattern/texture, however, appears from the same with colour. The edge with light appears thinner, but with objects, the edge appears thinner. Edge isn’t always outward, it is inwards of the object too.

Text
Text

A story about experiences with water to introduce or interweave with the works, with a focus on developing or combining imaginative, playful or poetic writing. I am imagining a space where multiple experience interplay by the mechanism where time doesn’t matter and using the writing method of the stream of consciousness, like Virginia Woolf.
